This image by American photographer Alex Webb, from his book Crossings, which clearly depicts two men being apprhended by the United States Border Patrol may be more relevant now than when it was taken during the 1970’s. Apart from that, the uncanny stillness of the scene, with the wild flowers, the men surrendering, and the helicopter floating above in the distance, all of it creates a truly beautiful but unsettling work.
